Weekly Response for Oct. 17 - 21 - All students must write a response by Friday Oct. 21, 201110/14/2011 When reading text we need to make INFERENCES and support our ideas with TEXTUAL EVIDENCE. This week while you are reading at home think about some things that you know are happening in your book even though they are not DIRECTLY STATED. Write what you know is occurring and give TEXTUAL EVIDENCE using direct quotes from your book.

I can infer that Benjamin Franklin was a good person because the people in Philadelphia voted Ben for Second Continental Congress.

In the book of Igrane The Brave 1 infrence is that Igrane wants to be a kinght even tough she is a girl. The text evidence is that her brother, mom, and dad are wizards and Igrane asked for armour for her birthday and that even if she is tall, fat, short, skinny,or huge it will always fit her.
