My name is Ryan Christopher Patterson and I'm 36 years old . I am a native to the Norwalk - La Mirada area and have lived in La Mirada my entire life. I graduated La Serna High School (95') and then graduated Point Loma Nazarene University (99') with a Bachelor's degree in History. I then came home and landed a job at Nuffer Elementary in NLMUSD and completed my teaching credential at UCLA. I have recently enrolled in a Masters program in Educational Technology at Concordia University. This is my 15th year at Nuffer and I am excited as ever as we have an opportunity to bring our class into the 21st century and change education for our community.
In my personal life as you can see I have an 8 year old daughter who is currently in the 2nd grade. I have been engaged for six months to the lovely Ms. Saenz(speech pathologist) and will be getting married in October of 2014. Like you, I also place my child in the hands of a public educator and I truly believe that they have my child's best interests in mind. I also would like to extend that to your family. In our community your children are the focus and we will be "... a school community with an unrelenting FOCUS on learning. ALL students, parents, teachers and visitors are expected to succeed and/or help others to achieve; NO ONE is allowed to give up. We all should be helping our school community grow and be the pride of Norwalk – La Mirada schools." I look forward to our time together. Let's make this the greatest school year of our lives!
